Our Year 1 classroom
The Story of Creation
We have been learning about the Story of Creation in our RE lessons. We have learnt that God made our world and that all that is come from God. God wants us to love and care for the world because the world is God's gift to us.
Year 1 listened to the Story of Creation from the Bible. We worked together to create a class display showing the seven days of creation.
Year 1 enjoyed God's Creation.
We went on an 'Awe and Wonder' around the school grounds. We stopped and thought about the beauty of the things we could see: a tiny ladybird, some berries. We took time to appreciate the texture of the tree trunk and the breeze on our skin.
Remembrance Day 2024: At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month... we remember them.
