Parish and Community

Welcome to the Parish of The Holy Family and All Saints Church.  Our church is at the other end of the town, located at Guithavon Street.  Fr Nixon Gomes is our Parish Priest.  Fr Nixon comes into school often to lead Mass.

Please see message below form Fr Nixon

Whether you are an established parishioner or a new one, a visitor or an enquirer, welcome to our  Parish Website. It has been lovingly created by members of our parish and continues to be a work in progress. I hope you will find it helpful and encouraging.
It gives a practical insight into our Catholic Community here in Witham, Essex.
We are graced to be under the original patronage of The Holy Family and the adopted patronage of All Saints and our desire is to become more deeply and truly both saint-like and a holy family.
We strive to be a vibrant, caring and friendly “Parish Family” committed to living the Catholic life in love and service to both God and neighbour.
Before you leave the site please pray an 'Our Father' for us as a community; that we may be Christ like in our lives and mission.

May God bless you and please know that we are also praying for you.

Holy Family is committed to having string Parish and community links, and is constantly looking for ways to further develop these.

We have the Thursday Parish Mass here in school so that we can be together with members of the Parish.  This is essential as our church is at the other end of the town and not easily accessible to the school.

We link with the Parish Vision Team to look at how we as a Parish will develop and implement the Bishop's vision for the Diocese.

Our children take part in local events and festivals

We have intergenerational links with a local care home, and children in year 6 have enjoyed their visit.

Children visit local places and/or meet people in the community - eg: library, fire, police, local councillors

Holy Family is not only part of the Rosary Trust CMAT, we are also part of the Witham Collaborative as work closely with other local schools.

We have strong links with the Witham Food Bank and support them all year.
