Welcome to Year 3
PE day is:
Tuesday - Games with Mr Fyfe (outside weather permitting)
We recommend sending your child to school without earrings on PE days.
Homework and Class Newsletter:
Homework will be sent home each Friday. Please remind your child to hand in their homework on Thursday so it can be marked before giving it back to them on Friday. Spellings will be sent to you via the Dojo platform. The children will be tested on these spellings the following Friday and the children's results will be recorded at the back of their reading records.
Reading quizzes
These will be completed on the following days:
Monday - Matthew Team
Tuesday - Mark Team
Wednesday - Luke Team
Thursday - John Team
Friday- any child who may have not have a chance to do it during the rest of the week or they have finished their book.
If your child finishes their longer 'bedtime' book which is the book that you read aloud to them (not their usual reading book) they can change it during the week. Please, make a note in their Reading record.
