Complaints Procedure

In accordance with our Mission Statement we believe that our school provides a good education to all our children. We are a welcoming, supportive and inclusive school and it is important that all members of the school community work together.

Our school aims to be fair, open and honest when dealing with any complaint/concern. We give careful consideration to all complaints and deal with them as swiftly as possible. We aim to resolve any complaint through dialogue and mutual understanding and, in all cases, we put the interests of the child above all other issues. Please find listed below how we deal with all concerns:

CONCERN (Informal)

  1. If you have a concern then please speak to a member of staff about it as soon as possible. Many issues can be resolved quickly by talking to the Class Teacher after school or by appointment.

  2. If this does not resolve your concern, please make an appointment to see either the Deputy Head by phoning the school office. The Deputy Head will seriously consider any such complaint and will investigate each case thoroughly. Most complaints are normally resolved at this stage.
