Pupil premium is the additional funding allocated to schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities. At Holy Family School, our intention is that all pupils, regardless of their background or challenges they face, make good progress and achieve well across all subjects.

In April 2013, the government announced £150 million in new funding for Physical Education (PE) and sport. This funding is specifically allocated to enhance the quality and range of PE and sporting opportunities in schools. It is ring-fenced for sport-related purposes to ensure it has a meaningful impact on PE and sport provision. Schools have the flexibility to decide how best to use the funding to raise standards, broaden participation, and support all pupils in developing healthy lifestyles and achieving their full potential in PE and sport.
