Dear Year 5 Parents

Please see revised year 5 timetable below.  We have been able to add in some more English lessons with Mrs Rackliff starting from next week.  Mrs Rackliff is also doing the RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) weekly lesson with the class as advised already.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say how brilliantly behaved year 5 were when they had their taster day at Maltings Academy this week.  We loved seeing how they became involved in all the sessions that were prepared for them (see photos below).  Maltings Academy were very impressed.  Well done Year 5.

Kind Regards

Mrs Kelliher

Year 5 had a wonderful day at Maltings on Tuesday 15th June. They participated in four activities, drama, DT (home economics), English & Maths. They behaved so very well and were a credit to you and the school.

Children's University Challenges - March

5th January 2021

Dear Parents

You will know after the government announcement that sadly HFS is closed until after the February half term.  This means that all children should remain at home, with the exception of agreed vulnerable (we don’t have any pupils in Foundation who meet this criteria) and agreed Keyworker (both parents/single parent household) children who once it has been agreed with Mrs Kelliher can be onsite for times when their parent is at work. Any shift workers will need to provide rotas.

Please see class emails and our usual online learning platforms.

Mrs Kelliher has also put lots of information on the coronavirus page on the school website (go to the Key Information tab)

Thank you for your support and understanding.

Welcome to Year 5 2020-2021!

As we couldn’t do a proper Christmas Production, Year 5&6 have learnt ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ in sign language. They have all worked so very hard learning this. Merry Christmas everyone.
