Witham Food Bank - Friday 12th July

Dear Parents,

Children from our class have been nominated to donate to our local Witham Food Bank.  It would be fantastic if every child in the class could bring in one item to donate to the food bank, so that we can show our local community how we care for others.  Below are some suggestions of what could be donated:

  • Tinned ready meals, vegetables, fruit and puddings
  • Pasta, rice and noodles
  • UHT milk, long life juice, tea and coffee
  • Cereal, jam and marmalade
  • Biscuits, crisps and treats
  • Baby products – milk, nappies, wipes
  • Toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary products

Thank you in advance; I know that you are a very generous class community.

3RD DECEMBER LETTER TO YEAR 2 AND HOMEWORK

MATHS HOMEWORK LINK

Year Two Homework 19th November

Dear Year Two,

Please remember to read the words to your Christmas songs, which are in your book bag.  Keep them in your bag each day.  If you have been given a narrator part, please learn to read the highlighted parts with an adult.  Thank you.

Anti-bullying Week:  We have been learning how to tell the difference between a friendship which is healthy and good for us and a friendship which may be causing us difficulties.  Each time, we have worked through role play to think about how each person may feel and the choices available to them to make things better.  We are all clearer about the times when she should ask an adult to help.  Friendships are special to us.  We want to try to use our friendship skills to help each child enjoy their day at school.
