Spring Term - Home learning - week beginning 22nd February 2021 (Week 7)
Hello everyone,
Below you will find the planning and resources you will need for the first week back after half-term. Please remember to check Tapestry for additional videos or updates, and your emails for Maths worksheets and any extra information I think you might need. As ever, I am so grateful for all that you are doing to support your child's home learning. Please keep uploading photos and comments to Tapestry - I love seeing what the children have been doing and hearing your updates. Remember that you can use the Maths & Phonics packs (collected from school) as you need them during the week. Please remember to return your reading books by Tuesday, 23rd February for exchange. The new books will be available for collection on Friday, 26th February.
Spring Term 2021 - Home Learning - wb 8th February 2021 (Week 6)
I can hardly believe that it is the last week of school before half term week. I am sure that you are all ready for a well-deserved rest! You have been working so hard, and I am so impressed with all of the lovely photos of work and activities you have uploaded to Tapestry. Well done, everyone!
This week we are going to be going back to investigating mini-beasts for the first half of the week. We will also be learning about Chinese New Year and Saint Valentine. I am very excited to announce the start of Teddylympics on Friday which you can continue over half-term if you are feeling energetic or in need of some exercise . Below, you will find the planning and the resources that you will need for the week. Remember that you can use the Maths & Phonics packs (collected from school) as you need them during the week. Please remember to return your reading books by Tuesday, 9th February for exchange. The new books will be available for collection on Friday, 12th February.

Spring Term 2021 - Home Learning - wb 25th January 2021 (Week 4)
Below you will find the planning and resources you will need for this week. We are returning to our Spring Term topic of 'Giants and Ants'. Please keep an eye on Tapestry where I will upload a video of me reading our story for the week, 'The Ant and the Grasshopper'. I will also be uploading videos with further explanation and modelling of some of the activities. This week we would love you to be involved in the annual RSBP Bird Watch - keep a look out for an email from Mrs Lonergan explaining more about it. Thank you so much for all of your photos and videos of your work, your hibernation stations/ dens and your winter walks. You have all been so busy and I love seeing what you have been up to.
I have included two i_e 'worksheets' (see above). There is no need to print these and there are two different pages to choose from. The children can use one (or both of the pages) to record the i_e words on, or they could write the words onto lined paper.

Spring Term 2021 - Home Learning - wb 18th January 2021
Below you will find the planning, activities and resources for the week. I have also included some additional worksheets should you need them. Please do not worry if you do not have a printer or your are not able to print the worksheets. You can make your own worksheet or use plain paper to record the work.
Please keep a look out for emails from me with updates and suggestions, and also keep an eye on Tapestry for videos and messages from me. This week, I will be reading stories, and giving some explanation of our theme: Winter.

Below you will find the planned activities and resources for wb 11th January 2021. Please look out for an email from me explaining a bit more about Reading. I will also be uploading a few videos of me doing some further explaining, reading, etc which I hope you and the children will enjoy and find useful. Please keep an eye on Tapestry for those videos. Thank you for all that you are doing supporting your child's learning at home. I really appreciate your enthusiasm and positivity. Autumn Term 2020 - Home Learning
Below you will find a learning grid of opportunities for you to continue at home if your child is having to quarantine or self-isolate.
As soon as I can, I shall also email you directly with additional resources to guide you in your child's current class learning while they are at home - especially with regards to spellings, maths and reading.
