Year 5

Tag Rugby has started!

Anti-Bullying Week: Drama in the Playground!

Year 5 were very lucky to have a visitor this morning, who came to talk to them about his experiences of fighting in the war. Mr Sanderson brought along some amazing photos for the children to look at and some medals from WW1.

Year 5 have had fun using different sized spheres to recreate the solar system!

Year 5 have had a busy day today.  We began by reading John McCrae's 'In Flanders Fields'; finishing the afternoon by painting our own poppies.

If you would like to know a little bit more about John McCrae and his world famous poem, have a look at: or even better, ask the children!
