Year 4

This week we are doing our Journey In Love topic. In this, we will discuss how we grow and develop at different rates, we will look at the differences between male and female bodies and we will identify and understand different emotions.

We will start this on Wednesday 21st June.

During Mission Week we have learnt that the Holy Spirit is always with us, all over the world.

Please ensure children can remove their own ear rings and have a pot to place them in safely so that they do not get lost from class to home.  If they are unable to remove them by themselves, please ensure they are not wearing them on these days.  All clothing needs to be clearly labelled.

Homework:

Homework will be set each Friday (sent home in their named plastic wallets).  Please could you encourage your child to return these to the homework box by Thursday morning.  Spellings will usually be tested on a Wednesday, these are completed on sheets and a copy will be sent home with their homework on Friday so you can see which ones they still need to practise and new spelling sheets will be sent home on this day.

We celebrated Roald Dahl's 100th birthday. We painted characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
