Happy Christmas to all of you. We have had a wonderful first term and look forward to seeing you again after the holiday. A BIG, BIG, thank you from all of the staff, including Mrs O'Shea and Mr Fyfe for your kind words and gifts.
Dear Year Two,
Please remember to read the words to your Christmas songs, which are in your book bag. Keep them in your bag each day. If you have been given a narrator part, please learn to read the highlighted parts with an adult. Thank you.
Anti-bullying Week: We have been learning how to tell the difference between a friendship which is healthy and good for us and a friendship which may be causing us difficulties. Each time, we have worked through role play to think about how each person may feel and the choices available to them to make things better. We are all clearer about the times when she should ask an adult to help. Friendships are special to us. We want to try to use our friendship skills to help each child enjoy their day at school.
Welcome to Year 2!
We hope that you have had a fantastic Summer holiday. We are looking forward to getting to know your children and also to working with our parents.
PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please ensure that your child has a named PE kit, so that they can take part in all the lessons.
Reminder: Earrings need to be taken out by your child on PE days.
